The 2018 Ford Focus offers several engine options for a variety of driving styles. There's an efficient 1.0L EcoBoost® I-3 that's great for casual commutes, an energetic 2.0L I-4 that offers a bit more power, and a battery-electric powertrain for better fuel economy. Those looking for sport can find it with the 2.3L EcoBoost®I-4 that pumps out 350 horsepower. Depending on the engine variant, the Focus can be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, a 6-speed manual transmission, or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Similarly, the Hyundai Elantra has a standard 2.0L 4-cylinder, a turbocharged 1.4L 4-cylinder engine, or a high-performance turbocharged 1.6L 4-cylinder engine.
